The Thornbury Bakery has been a landmark in Thornbury for over 80 years! Known for our Chelsea Buns, Cinnamon Rolls, Chop Suey Buns and Buttertarts, our bakery now offers much, much more. Everyday our bakers produce freshly baked bread from scratch. Nothing out of a package or from the freezer, we mix, proof and bake nine grain, whole wheat and white bread each and every morning. On Saturday we add a light rye to our repertoire and we are working on new varieties to add to our mix. From Carrot Cakes to Apple Pie to Ginger Molasses cookies, we tested recipe after recipe and did not stop until we had the perfect product. Come in and check out what we’ve been up to. The Dam Pub is operated by Whisky Specialist Stephanie Price. Over 600 whiskies from around the world, including over 400 single malts, with special attention shown to the true Scottish varieties. Executive Chef Suzette Gerrie continues to dazzle patrons with her her culinary skills including The Dam Pub's famous signature dish, Lamb Shank and the Islay Fling dessert for 2, a combination of fine chocolate & heaven with 2 nips of Lagavulin 16.
