There are many trails around Thornbury. GEORGIAN TRAIL: connecting Collingwood, Thornbury, and Meaford is an easy trail which is open to walking and cycling. LOREE FOREST LOOP: a short drive from Thornbury the trail joins the Bruce trail and brings you to the edge of the escarpment for a breathtaking view of Georgian Bay.
