The Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest foot path, provides the only continuous public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. It is one of only fifteen such reserves in all of Canada. Our Area of the Bruce Trail runs from Lavender to Craigleith. The terrain changes abruptly as the Bruce Trail enters the area known as the Blue Mountains. Here are located Ontario's best-known ski resorts, set among high bluffs interspersed with deep wide valleys. From the Trail, there are excellent views of the rolling countryside and Nottawasaga Bay.

Features a hard-packed, granular surface, ideal for walkers, joggers, cyclists, cross-country skiers and snowshoers. Connects Collingwood, Thornbury and Meaford.
